Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety: Seymour’s Board of Public Works approved a $7,030 change order for the Vital Farms project, authorized a six-month IT-services trial with Elevate, and increased transit tokens to $2. The board also approved several infrastructure, parking, food-truck and sewer-bill actions. Utility work and property acquisitions on South O’Brien Street are nearing completion, while the Transfer Station drive is expected to be poured within a few weeks. Pets will be allowed on buses for veterinary appointments if controlled by their owners. The minutes do not state the dollar amount of the Elevate agreement or the terms of the 2026 Gonzalez on-call contract.
