Seymour City Council: Seymour approves 10-year, $375,000 Spaceguard tax abatement and transit grant application

Seymour City Council: The Seymour City Council approved a 10-year tax abatement for Spaceguard Products covering $375,000 in manufacturing and information-technology equipment. The council also authorized the city to apply for federal Section 5311/5339 funding for its 2027 transit-service budget. Separately, council advanced an ordinance restricting commercial use of certain public-records requests, while no action was taken on a church-area parking dispute.
