Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety: Seymour approves $22,000 parking-lot paving bid and two 2026 roadwork contracts

Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety: Seymour’s Board of Public Works approved Dave O’Mara’s $22,000 bid to pave and sealcoat the Water Pollution Control parking lot, along with two contracts for the city’s 2026 Community Crossings Matching Grant roadwork. The board also approved a 60-day extension for a 2025 grant project and reported continuing work on several roads. Highway 11 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers while Indiana American Water works on a crossing. Mobile-food licenses and event-related parking-lot closures were approved, several subject to missing documentation or a fire inspection.
