Brownstown Central school board: Brownstown school board approves $8,680 emergency work and names new BCMS principal

The Brownstown Central Community School Corporation board unanimously approved two emergency allocations totaling $8,679.59, approved routine claims and payroll totaling $1,435,591.31, and approved Maria Anderson’s transfer from BES literacy cadre coach to BCMS principal effective July 1, 2026. The board also approved summer school, a flexibility-waiver resolution, the sale of excess dirt from the BES gym project, and numerous personnel, field-trip, and facility-use requests.
