Crothersville school board approves 2026-27 programs, staffing and special-education services
Crothersville school board approved several items affecting the next school year, including continuation of Title I, high-ability and special-education programs; staff and extracurricular assignments; and a teacher’s move to third grade. The Title I program brings in a little over $100,000 annually, while the high-ability program receives about $24,000. The district also announced a before- and after-school-care partnership with Healthy Kids, with a $25 enrollment fee through June 30 that rises to about $100 afterward. The heating and air project is nearly complete. Online student registration begins July 20, with in-person registration for new families during the week of July 27. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for July 13 at 6 p.m.
