Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety: On July 23, 2026, the Seymour Board of Public Works approved the purchase of two new Mack trailers for the Transfer Station from Ruxer Ford at $86,900 each ($173,800 total). The Board also delegated authority to Mayor Matt Nicholson and ERC Chad Dixon to make the final decision regarding a short-notice request from CSX to perform work at a railroad crossing between Chestnut and Indianapolis Ave. Other decisions included approving sidewalk closures, dumpster extensions, sewer bill adjustments, and food vendor permits.
